Thank you for what I view as approval of how I’m doing my job, and thank you for allowing me the honor of representing you for another term.

Trace Johannesen Re-Elect

As some of you know, the city announced an election for three of our seven City Council seats, with a filing window from mid-January to mid-February. That window closed yesterday evening at 5pm, and no one filed to run against us three incumbents: John Hohenshelt Place 2, Trace Johannesen Place 4 and Patrick Trowbridge Place 6.

Some might think it’s because eyes are on the national election or County primaries, so there’s less focus on municipal seats. I prefer to think it's because we’re doing a great job at leading the city, so thank you for the implied vote of confidence. Either way, THANK YOU.

And my family thanks you for not necessitating running a campaign in 2020!
